Kerk Maria Boodschap Goirle

In the center of small village of Goirle, a former church with monumental qualifications is transformed into apartments by JMW architects. The design concept is referring to the layout structure of the former church. Old windows in the facades remain where possible and are added with new windows to generate enough daylight for living. The additions are subordinate to the main view of the church so the atmosphere of the Catholic architecture remains within the building.
